Brittany Flores

Senior Scientist

Hometown:

Highland, IN

Education:

Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology, University of Michigan; B.S. in Biology, Indiana University

Previous Experience:

Prior to insitro, I was a senior scientist in Discovery Biology at Denali Therapeutics. I led in vitro efforts to advance a small molecule towards the clinic for the treatment of ALS. Before that, during my Ph.D. I elucidated mechanisms of disease in cell models of ALS and FTD using cellular/biochemical assays and a high-throughput automated microscopy platform accompanied by machine learning methods for quantitative image analysis workflows.

Responsibilities at insitro:

As part of the neuroscience team, I develop and execute in vitro assays and explore novel models for neurodegenerative diseases to advance early targets through the pipeline.

Other insitrocytes Describe Me As:

Adaptable, Data-driven, Collaborative
