Eilon Sharon

Principal ML Scientist

Education:

Ph.D. in computer science (computational biology track), Weizmann Institute of Science

Previous Experience:

Prior to insitro, I used machine learning to explore various biological questions, working on projects ranging from miRNA gene discovery at Rosetta Genomics, to modeling gene expression regulation and developing a synthetic biology Massively Parallel Reporter Assay during my Ph.D. at the Weizmann Institute of Science, and finally conducting diverse research at Stanford Medical School, statistical genetic, building a diagnostic tool that uses cell-free DNA sequencing for transplant health monitoring, and analysis of high-throughput CRISPR editing.

Responsibilities at insitro:

I lead teams that use advance machine learning and computational biology techniques to analyze in vitro disease model data, enhancing the process of drug development.
