Prior to Insitro, I worked at Genentech in the Hoogenraad Lab to explore if knocking out genes of interest implicated in neurodegeneration would have a protective effect on axons upon physical and chemical stressor in an image-based assay.
Responsibilities at insitro:
I generate disease models in multiple parental cell lines to discover functional and image-based phenotypes for the genetic epilepsies and neurodevelopment disorders project.
