Associate Director, Science
B.S./M.S. in engineering mechanics and astronautics, University of Wisconsin; Ph.D., Materials Science Program, University of Wisconsin
Prior to insitro, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research, where I conducted CRISPR screens on Zika virus tropism, developed human cerebral organoid models of epilepsy, and built wet lab and computational scRNAseq pipelines.
I lead several spatialomics projects at insitro, including the Pooled Optical Screening in Human Cells (POSH) Platform, along with the target discovery strategy for several of insitro’s therapeutic areas.
A suspiciously cheerful engineer/scientist hybrid
